What Does Lift One To Life mean?

We get this question a lot. A. Lot.

Truth be told, we’ve never set a strict definition to it. We want you to be able to Lift One to Life for whatever occasion you think is appropriate. For us, that could mean celebration, commemorating, making memories, talking about old stories or just because it’s a beautiful Wednesday. Beer is more than a beverage. It’s a platform to bring the community together, bring friends together, bring family together and more.

Throughout June, we’ll be lifting one to life with our local Make-A-Wish Chapter. This is a cause near and dear to my heart. And I’m excited to tap our Wishful Witbier this Thursday in our taproom. We’ve partnered with Make-A-Wish to raise money for local wish kids.

Though many people have seen the national Wish Kids’ stories, the organization is actually comprised of local chapters that change the lives of kids in their community. That will be our goal during the month of June. Order a Wishful Witbier to support the cause, donate in our taproom or create a team for their Walk for Wishes.

Since 1983, the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana chapter has granted over 15,000 wishes. These wishes play a unique, and vital, role in helping strengthen and empower children battling critical illnesses. Even better, almost 80% of these Wish Kids go on to live a healthy and fulfilling life, identifying the Wish as a turning point in their treatment.

And now, research is backing these ideas. The Columbus Dispatch¬†highlighted research done by Chief of Neurology, Dr. Anup Patel at Nationwide Children’s Hospital that shows the impact of a wish. You can see his testimony on what a wish can mean for a child and family in your local community below:

Now that’s good reason to lift one to life! We hope to see you in the taproom tomorrow.
