Earlier this year we announced that we would be turning up the heat on our barrel aging program in 2019. We made a commitment to the craft of barrel-aged beer with the announcement of a 20,000 square foot Taproom and barrel storage facility. And now we’re excited to announce the grand opening of the Braxton Barrel House in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky!
The Braxton Barrel House opens its doors on Friday, September 27th, 2019!
The Barrel House location in Fort Mitchell, KY boasts 20 beer taps, a pilot system for brewing experimental batches for barrel aging, and a storage facility to allow the final product to take form inside those barrels.
For fans of Braxton and barrel aged beers, the Barrel House will offer a uniquely immersive experience of the craft. Guests will be able to get a closer look at the process behind barrel aging, while enjoying spacious outdoor patio area.
To celebrate the opening of our third location, the Barrel House will open with a launch party starting at 3pm on Friday, September 27th. The event will feature barrel aged Braxton Beers on tap like Dark Charge, Barrel Aged Blown Gasket and other Barrel Aged favorites. We’ll also be hosting Tracy Walker Duo Friday night from 7pm-11pm!
