All November, Braxton Brewing Company is hosting the Covington Farmers Market. Join us Saturday mornings in the taproom, grab a Starter Coffee and support our local farmers. From 9am-1pm, you can shop local and find items such as local baked goods, produce, meats, soaps, decorations and more. It’s a great opportunity to get your holiday shopping done early! We’ll be hosting in the taproom on:
- Saturday, November 11th
- Saturday, November 18th
- Wednesday, November 22nd (get your Turkey Day produce!)
- Saturday, November 25th (Shop Small Saturday)
We always encourage you to drink local and now you have the opportunity to shop local. And because local farms mean local owners, we get the chance to feature our farmers. Learn more about Balanced Brilliance Organic Farm below:
Q: Can you briefly describe your farm?
A: We will have certified organic eggs for sale! We raised a variety of of certified organic produce this year (watermelon, tomatoes, peppers, onions, eggplant, corn, hemp), but the produce is finished for the year.
Q: What’s your favorite part of participating in the Covington Farmers Market?
A: Our favorite part of the farmers’ markets is getting away from the farm for a little bit and talking to the people.
Q: What’s it like to be participating in a Farmers Market inside a brewery?
A: We’re not completely sure what it’s like hosting the farmers’ market inside the brewery? We’re really excited, think it’s going to be lots of fun.
Q: What should our visitors take home for the holidays from your farm?
A: Your visitors should buy our certified organic, free-range eggs. Also, they should buy Lizzie’s holiday greeting cards, artwork, and dream catchers. Lizzie does a variety of artwork, and she’s happy to do custom work for anyone for the holidays.
Q: If anyone wants to learn more about your farm, how can they do that?
