2nd Anniversary: FAQ’s

You ask. We answer. Before joining us for our 2nd Anniversary party, we wanted to answer some of the questions we’ve been asked. Still have questions? Reach out to us on Twitter or Facebook!

  • There’s a lot of construction in Covington, where should I park?
    • Good question! There’s a lot of progress happening in Covington but it has eliminated a small amount of parking. We always recommend using Uber, Lyft or a Designated Driver. If you’re looking for parking, please see the map below. There are over 500 spots within a 3 block radius of Braxton.

  • Where is the party happening at?
    • The bottle release will take place inside the taproom. We’ll be tapping some special beers throughout the day in the taproom as well. However, the majority of the party — live music, new beers, March Madness and more — will take place outside. See the map below to get a “lay of the land.”

  • What bottles are being released? At what time? Where at? And how much do they cost?
    • There are three bottles that are being released — Mentor Belgian Tripel, Mentee Belgian Table Beer with Guava and Pomegranate, and Yesterday’s Headlines Vol. 2 Golden Sour with Morello Cherries. Each bottle is $14.99 + tax … OR … you can get one of our packaged deals:
      • Mentor + Mentee + Mentor / Mentee Glass = $25
      • Mentor + Mentee + Yesterday’s Headlines Vol. 2 + Mentor / Mentee Glass = $35
  • What if I reserved my bottles, where do I pick them up at?
    • The bottle pick-up will happen at the same place where bottle sales are happening. This will take place inside the garage in the taproom.
  • Will those beers be on draft? Will there be anything else new on draft?
    • Yes! Mentor, Mentee, and Yesterday’s Headlines Vol. 2 will all be on draft along with 7 other new beers. See the full lineup here.
  • I loved having coffee available at the Winter Block Party. Will you be pouring any tomorrow?
    • We will! For $6, you get a fresh cup of Starter Coffee and you get to keep the limited edition mug!
  • Is this a ticketed event?
    • It is not! It is free.
  • What’s the live music schedule?
    • We’ve got a full lineup to keep the good vibes flowing:

      • 7P: Current Events
      • 9P: The Hot Magnolias
      • DJ JK will be keeping the energy going between sets
  • How big is the big screen you’ve been talking about? What games will be on?
    • It’s BIG. We’ll have a 10ft. X 5ft. HD screen showing the Elite 8 games including the Xavier game at 6PM.
  • Is this a kid friendly event?
    • Under 21 guests are allowed in until 9P. We do expect it to be a crowded event so please be aware of the environment you are bringing your friends and family into.
  • What about my fur babies. Is this event dog friendly?
    • Well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed. Again, expect a crowd and please be aware of the environment you are bringing your pup into.
  • Will there be food to soak up all the delicious Braxton beer I’ll be enjoying?
    • Of course! Cuban Pete, Empanadas Aqui and Texas Joe will all be here!
  • Are you planning to fill crowlers and growlers?
    • We plan to fill crowlers and growlers of everything except Barrel-Aged beers and Mentor, Mentee, and Yesterday’s Headlines Vol. 2.
  • An outdoor event at the end of March…sounds risky. Are you guys crazy?
    • Yes, a little. However, it looks like Mother Nature enjoys a good party as much as we do. The outdoor area will be covered in case of any rain but it looks like it’s going to be an amazing day to lift one to life!
